ABOUT ME
Joséphine is a French, hair makeup and wig artist currently based in Reykjavik, Iceland.
It is in 2011 that she started experimenting with makeup brushes and pin combs in l´Atelier du Griffon, Lyon France.
In 2017 after completing her full training in makeup, wigs and hairdressing, helping out in DisneyLand Paris, Un village Francais and le Theatre du Capitole she decided to bring her skills to London.
Having an opera and theatre background she brought along her efficiency, wig knowledge and enthusiasm to some live shows at the Royal Opera House, in the West End, stopped at Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and finished at the National Theatre. Her love for cinema and period aesthetics pushed her into the world of movies and tv shows like Star Wars, Pennyworth and Call the Midwifes. Having worked on big sets for Disney, Warner Bros & Netflix she knows how to navigate her craft with respect, energy and an eye for detail.
Being in Iceland since 2021, the diversity of projects in this country excite her the most as it allows her to be a complete artist.
Jumping from TV show like Awkwafina is Nora from Queens to music videos recently with Jon Bellion, to commercials like Marcs Jacobs and Zara Man or movies like Reykjavik and Greenland 2: Migration keeps pushing and challenging her craft.
For the last two years now, creating characters and expressing herself through hair volume and makeup palettes has brought her to start designing herself like Odd Fish, Afturelding and the upcoming tv mini series Vigdís.
